About The Position

This position involves learning and performing a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance of Water and Wastewater systems. The role includes receiving training in safe operating procedures at treatment plants and pumping stations, as well as performing lab duties and minor repairs under supervision.

Requirements

• Any combination of college education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Possess a valid California's Driver's License.
• Knowledge of mathematical computations and mechanical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in Water and Wastewater maintenance.
• Receive training in safe operating procedures in Water and Wastewater treatment plants.
• Assist with lab duties and pumping station operations.
• Make adjustments and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain 'ON CALL' status on a rotational basis.
