Utility Operator

About the position

The Utility Operator position at IPEX involves executing standard utility services within the injection molding department of a new automated facility in Pineville, NC. The role focuses on maintaining safety, product quality, and production output while performing housekeeping duties and supporting operations as a back-up operator when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct others on projects.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning and changing/replacing filters for molding presses and 5S projects.
• Utilize basic carpentry skills and power tools such as jig saws and skill saws.
• Expertly use measuring instruments like measuring tapes and calipers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school degree or equivalent with the ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• 1+ years of Forklift Certified experience.
• Successful completion of pre-employment requirements.
