About the position

The Utility Teller at Enterprise Bank & Trust is responsible for providing prompt, efficient, and friendly services to clients while processing various banking transactions. This role includes heavy cash handling responsibilities and requires travel to other branches to support staffing needs. The position emphasizes customer service, compliance with banking regulations, and teamwork to achieve branch goals.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Respond to clients' needs and inquiries in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Perform minor account maintenance tasks, including address changes and debit card maintenance.
• Refer customers to internal experts for additional financial needs.
• Educate clients on bank technology, such as mobile and online banking.
• Assist branch and fellow team members in achieving goals and sharing daily tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safe banking practices and applicable laws and regulations.
• Assist in opening and closing the branch following corporate security procedures.
• Travel to other branches to support staffing needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience working in an environment with individual and team goals preferred.
• One year of cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client transactions and bank records.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and calculators.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
