About The Position

The Utility position at Pilgrim's Feed Mill involves maintaining cleanliness and safety within the facility, assisting with the receipt and organization of ingredients, and supporting maintenance tasks as needed. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the feed mill, particularly during the 3rd shift, and requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Ability to physically perform essential duties satisfactorily.

• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at high levels.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the inside and outside of the Feed Mill.
• Keep all grounds of the Feed Mill clean by mowing, weed-eating, and picking up trash and spilled feed.
• Dispose of trash and waste feed properly.
• Dust beams, equipment, and railings as needed.
• Paint railings, beams, and walls as directed by supervisor.
• Receive bag ingredients into the feed mill warehouse using a forklift.
• Arrange bag ingredients neatly for counting and use on a first-in, first-out basis.
• Tape broken bags to prevent spillage and contamination.
• Assist maintenance as needed as directed by supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production demands.
