Tecture is an established web and application development firm that is looking for a User Experience professional with front end development experience. In this role, you will be a Problem-Solving Expert, utilizing your UX experience to build seamless experiences while also debugging existing challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to create and build beautiful custom websites, leveraging your talent to solve business challenges through clean and simple user experience and design. Additional responsibilities include front-end web development, web design, debugging, and creatively addressing a wide range of challenges. We foster a casual, fun, and collaborative environment, where our small and flexible team works hard and plays hard, all sharing the desire to create the best product possible. As part of our team, you will be expected to have proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator, along with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will be an active proponent of web standards, usability, and accessibility, with an emphasis on clean, usable, and sophisticated layouts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a dedication to delivering projects on time. Our office is located in downtown Chicago, but currently, we are working remotely and will transition back to in-office work when it is safe to do so. We collaborate over various remote channels such as Zoom, Basecamp, and Slack, and enjoy team-building activities like our Friday Slack Coffee and regular standup meetings.
