About the position

The UX Content Designer role focuses on enhancing products and experiences through effective language and user needs. This position is contract-based and requires local candidates in Seattle who are open to commuting. The designer will work on improving customer journeys, in-product flows, information architecture, and language to ensure clarity and ease of localization.

Responsibilities

• Lead content design work for a diverse, international audience
• Develop product flows and messaging frameworks
• Craft clear, engaging in-product content that simplifies complex financial concepts
• Collaborate with various teams to create a cohesive customer experience across all platforms and touchpoints
• Use data, user research, and customer feedback to inform content design decisions
• Contribute to design and content systems and advocate for accessibility

Requirements

• At least 3 years of content design or relevant UX writing experience
• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, user experience, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience
• A UX content design portfolio that ideally includes end-to-end customer journeys, user interface copy, and user education
• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end products with complex flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases
• Familiarity with design tools, especially Figma
• Experience simplifying and communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences in a compelling way
• Experience working with compliance and legal teams during the content and product development and approval process
