About the position

Are you an experienced UX writer with a passion for wearables and content design? We're actively seeking a talented individual to join our team. In this critical role, you'll contribute directly to the development of our next-generation wearables companion app—a platform that empowers users to connect, capture life's fleeting moments, and share experiences while remaining fully present. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive and adept at managing time and communicating needs and plans to partners, keeping content development on time and on track. The individual will be a strong systems thinker and UX practitioner and have experience building design and interaction systems. The ideal candidate will be able to grasp new and emerging concepts quickly and develop a strategy that meets the needs of the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to triage feature requirements, align partners, and develop educational content for Home experiences within the company's Wearables app
  • Work closely with the Wearables Content Design (CD) team, Product Design, Product Management, and engineering partners to ensure that new Home features or modifications meet performance and technical requirements
  • Establish standards to enable internal teams to efficiently create Home content, thereby scaling support
  • Deliver content punctually, aligning with project milestones and considering downstream impacts on messaging and clarity
  • Stay informed about AR technologies and trends to inform design decisions
  • Strategically prioritize tasks, optimizing your efforts based on need and impact

Requirements

  • Strong Figma Experience: Proficiency in Figma is essential
  • UX Writing Skills: Ability to streamline feature-level content and distill complex information effectively
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Stakeholder Navigation: Experience collaborating with multiple partners
  • Effective Communication: Comfortable applying localization and accessibility labels; strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Judgment and Intuition: Ability to make informed recommendations backed by clear rationale
  • Balancing Detail and Big Picture: Skill in switching between focusing on details and understanding the broader context
  • Adaptability: Enjoys working in undefined spaces and is open to feedback
  • Creative Mindset: Future-forward thinking and creativity are desired
  • Team Player: Collaborative and exceptional time management
