About the position

As a UX Copywriter at Sleeper, you will be responsible for shaping the language and content across our sports platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for users. You will collaborate with product designers, engineers, and marketers to create compelling content that resonates with both casual and hardcore sports fans.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit UI text, in-app messaging, and other product content for web and mobile.
• Craft compelling copy for marketing campaigns, slogans, landing pages, and scripts for video content.
• Develop content strategies that enhance user experiences and align with our brand voice.
• Help maintain and evolve our content style guide and voice and tone guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is clear, consistent, and user-centered.
• Participate in user testing, research, and product development process to inform content decisions.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or copywriting.
• Strong portfolio showcasing writing skills and content strategy experience.
• Experience writing for marketing campaigns and creating persuasive, brand-aligned content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Sharp attention to detail and a passion for creating user-centered content.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools.
• Passion for sports, with a knack for weaving in current sports events, memes, and fan culture into writing.
