The UI/UX Designer - II position is a long-term contract role based in Miami, FL, or 140 West, NYC, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements, ensuring that the design process is user-centric and aligned with business goals. The designer will be responsible for illustrating design ideas through various methods such as storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps, which are essential for visualizing the user experience and guiding the development process. In this role, the designer will create graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, and widgets, and will build navigation buttons and search fields to enhance user interaction. The development of UI mockups and prototypes is crucial, as these will demonstrate site functionality and provide a tangible representation of the design vision. The designer will also be tasked with creating original graphic designs, which may include images, sketches, and tables, to support the overall aesthetic and usability of the product. Presenting rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders is a key responsibility, as it allows for feedback and iterative improvements.
