About the position

The UX Designer - Summer 2025 Intern position at Iron Mountain is designed for early career talent to gain hands-on experience in user experience design. The intern will work on building innovative digital solutions for a global customer base, collaborating with various teams to enhance user experience across Iron Mountain's applications. This 12-week internship program emphasizes professional development, networking, and meaningful contributions to the company's digital growth aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Wireframing using Figma (70%)
• Conducting user research through contextual inquiry (10%)
• Performing usability testing (10%)
• Creating accessibility specifications and conducting testing (10%)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HCI, design, UX, or a related field
• Expected to graduate between December 2025 and July 2026
• Must be located in the continental United States for the duration of the program
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Available for a 40-hour work week for 12 weeks

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with contextual inquiries and usability testing
• Ability to lead project/product design efforts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes, preferably in Figma
• Attention to detail
