About the position

The UX Intern at Iron Mountain will be responsible for building innovative digital solutions for a global customer base. This 12-week internship program is designed to empower early career talent through meaningful work, professional development, and networking opportunities. Interns will collaborate with various teams to enhance user experience across Iron Mountain's applications, contributing to the company's digital growth aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Wireframing using Figma (70%)
• Conducting user research through contextual inquiry (10%)
• Performing usability testing using UserZoom (10%)
• Creating accessibility specifications and conducting testing (10%)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation between December 2025 and July 2026
• Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship
• Pursuing a degree in HCI, design, UX, or a related field
• Located in the continental United States for the duration of the program
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction (not eligible for visa sponsorship)
• 40 hours per week commitment for 12 weeks

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with user experience design and testing for web and digital properties
• Experience with contextual inquiries and usability testing
• Experience leading project/product design efforts
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and leadership
• Proficiency in creating highly interactive prototypes, preferably in Figma
• Attention to detail
