About the position

The UX Designer - Systems Design Expert role at Aquent focuses on developing, creating, and modifying user interfaces by understanding end-user needs. The position requires collaboration with business development teams to analyze user needs and software requirements, ensuring that designs are feasible within time and cost constraints. The role also involves coordinating software system installations and monitoring equipment to meet specifications, as well as utilizing scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict design outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the business development team and/or customers to understand their business problems and goals.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
• Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in software design and development.
• Experience in professional UI development.
• Experience with data-driven UI development.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
