About the position

The User Experience Designer III will serve as a UX Design Lead within the Client's Intelligent Solutions Group, focusing on projects of moderate to high complexity. The role involves developing user interaction task flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and ensuring that features are implemented according to specifications. The designer will also mentor less-experienced UX designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs.

Responsibilities

• Support projects of moderate and high complexity through the development of user interaction task flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to features and develop user-centered system requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and perform UX interaction design and validation activities for various projects.
• Collaborate with UX designers on solution concepts derived from user-centered system requirements.
• Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure features are implemented according to specifications.
• Mentor and coach less-experienced UX Designers.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience planning, executing, and analyzing UX design projects.
• Four or more years of visual interface design experience as applied to web and mobile.
• Four or more years of experience applying User-Centered Design principles to complex interface problems.
• Four or more years of experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, software development, marketing, and business leaders.
• Three or more years of experience communicating research methodology, design concepts, data analysis, and test results to a broad range of stakeholders.
• Three or more years of experience with technology and product development processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Two or more years of visual interface design experience as applied to in-vehicle displays.
• Demonstrated ability to champion end user experience and influence digital product designs across product areas.
• Experience in product discovery, design research, and concept validation to inform experience definition and design concepts.
• A strong portfolio of UI visual design, task flows, and designing to solve user problems.
• Experience using UX metrics and a user-centered design process to provide insights to product engineering groups.
• Experience applying design principles in terms of user flows, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and brand influence.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize prototyping, user flows, storyboards, and/or existing research to provide insights to design ahead of high-fidelity design delivery.
• Experience designing for agriculture in-vehicle interfaces.
