About the position

The UX Designer at Zions Bancorporation plays a crucial role in enhancing the Customer 360 experience across web and mobile platforms. This position focuses on creating user-centered design solutions that optimize usability and ease of adoption, contributing to the transformation of customer interactions with the bank.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the UX/UI design of Customer 360 by optimizing for usability, preference, and ease of adoption.
  • Advocate for and participate in user testing to gather end-user input, collaborating with the product team.
  • Critique proposed and implemented work, providing feedback to designers and developers to ensure accountability in design delivery.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance design strategies.
  • Drive consistency in style and branding across web and mobile projects.
  • Document design processes, user flows, and design specifications, maintaining organized files and design assets.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to continuously improve design skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience designing for web and mobile, with a strong portfolio of user-centered design solutions.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience managing design systems.
  • Fluent in responsive design and native mobile patterns.
  • Strong understanding of design principles including layout, typography, color theory, and branding.
  • Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to champion design ideas and collaborate effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Figma for UX, UI, and graphic design.
