About the position

As a UX Designer at Associated Bank, you will play a crucial role in translating business vision and customer experience needs into compelling UI designs. This position involves collaborating with various teams to create prototypes, ensuring optimal user experiences across digital platforms, and advocating for user-centered design principles. You will be responsible for maximizing brand value and customer engagement through effective design communication and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Translate business vision and customer experience needs into UI design.
• Assist in building prototypes to promote concept understanding and business buy-in.
• Collaborate across teams to bring design requirements to life.
• Work with developers to iterate on designs during implementation.
• Conduct and interpret user research to inform design decisions.
• Explore modern trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Digital Design, Communication Design, Information Design, Graphic Design, or Interaction Design.
• 3-5 years of experience designing component-based web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Strong visual design skills and knowledge of user-centered experiences, workflows, and design principles.
• Proficiency in prototyping and wireframe creation tools such as Figma.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience presenting design concepts to teams for feedback.
• Knowledge of design patterns and design systems.
