About the position

The UX Designer position at Plymouth Rock Assurance focuses on enhancing user experience across digital platforms for home insurance. The role involves conducting user research, creating user-centered designs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve the overall customer journey from marketing to purchase. The designer will be responsible for developing multimedia marketing materials and ensuring that digital assets align with business goals while maintaining brand integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, conducting, and managing user research/testing activities to understand customers deeply.
  • Leading mapping and ideation sessions with teams and stakeholders.
  • Establishing research strategy and analyzing current behaviors to enhance user experience.
  • Educating teams on research findings and insights to improve site experiences.
  • Creating and implementing A/B tests to validate UX insights and strategies.
  • Building digital assets and experiences to meet customer needs.
  • Designing interfaces and creative content for multiple digital channels.
  • Managing projects to ensure business goals are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Providing oversight of all digital/creative projects for consistency.
  • Using agile methods for the delivery of new/improved experiences.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to generate buy-in for projects.
  • Mentoring other UX stakeholders and promoting a culture of exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a UX Designer.
  • Proficiency with Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to accept and provide critique of work.
  • Strong visual communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Design Thinking and Agile frameworks.
  • Willingness to learn and teach others.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in conducting usability testing and web metrics analysis.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in project management.
