About the position

The UX Designer role combines skills in UX research and design to lead the user experience and accessibility workstream for a SaaS platform. The position focuses on optimizing content organization and structure to enhance user experience, conducting usability testing, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. The UX Designer will advocate for user experience and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with technology vendors and internal teams to implement best practices and achieve compliance goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall UX workstream for the SaaS platform.
• Conduct usability testing for the solution.
• Participate in recruitment, interviews, surveys, and test case development.
• Negotiate results and actionable insights with technology vendors.
• Act as the UX advocate for user experience and accessibility requirements during project delivery phases.
• Evaluate and implement accessibility functionality for the SaaS platform.
• Work with technology vendors to ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Organize and lead design thinking sessions to develop Journey Maps and Personas.
• Consult with the UX lead for compliance of work products and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in UX research and design.
• Strong understanding of usability testing methodologies.
• Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data.
• Experience in negotiating with technology vendors.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
