About the position

As a UX Designer at Associated Bank, you will play a crucial role in translating business vision and customer experience needs into compelling UI designs. This position involves collaborating with various teams to create prototypes, ensuring that designs meet user needs and business goals. You will be responsible for enhancing digital user experiences across multiple platforms, advocating for the end-user, and staying updated on modern design trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate business vision and customer experience needs into compelling UI design.
• Assist in building prototypes to promote concept understanding and business buy-in.
• Collaborate across various teams and disciplines to bring requirements to life via compelling designs.
• Work with developers to iterate on designs during implementation for optimal outcomes.
• Communicate design decisions with key stakeholders while advocating for the end-user.
• Conduct and interpret research on end-users' perceived value and usability to make design recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Digital Design, Communication Design, Information Design, Graphic Design or Interaction Design.
• 3-5 years of experience designing component-based web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Knowledge of user-centered experiences, workflows, and design principles.
• Strong visual design skills and the ability to collaborate with other designers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with prototyping and wireframe creation tools such as Figma.
• Familiarity with modern trends, tools, design patterns, and design systems.
