About the position

As a UX Designer at Diverse Lynx LLC, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experience through the design and development of user interfaces. Your primary responsibilities will include creating wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows. You will conduct user research to gather insights and create user personas that inform your design decisions. Your expertise will be essential in testing designs and iterating based on user feedback to ensure optimal usability and functionality. In this position, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions. Working alongside the application development team, you will finalize workflows and ensure that the user interface aligns with the overall product vision. Your ability to resolve any UX issues that arise during the design process will be critical to the success of the projects you undertake. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to advocate for the user throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

  • Creating wireframes and prototypes.
  • Conducting user research and creating user personas.
  • Creating prototypes and testing designs.
  • Designing user interfaces and working with the product engineer to finalize workflows.
  • Creating user flows and resolving any UX issues.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders and working with the application development team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing wireframes, prototypes, and user-centered design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to create user personas and user flows.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
