As a User Experience Designer at Marriott International, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital experiences for one of the most recognized hospitality companies in the world. Your work will involve collaborating with digital product teams to produce creative and impactful solutions through ideation, regular feedback, and critique. A strong portfolio showcasing your UX and visual design skills is essential, particularly in areas where simplicity and ease-of-use are paramount. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a vision for how experiences should be designed, ensuring that user-centric design principles are at the forefront of your work. You will produce sketches, wireframes, personas, journey maps, flows, designs, and prototypes using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Your ability to balance user, business, and technical needs will be crucial as you define product problem areas from the guest/user perspective and lead with a user-centric mindset. You will thrive on creating innovative solutions to challenging user and business problems while valuing deadlines and setting realistic expectations around them. Reporting to the Director of UX and Design, you will work both individually and collaboratively with other user experience designers to produce actionable deliverables. Your role will also involve participating in user acceptance testing to ensure a quality experience on live digital products. You will be expected to keep your skills up-to-date on industry trends and apply new knowledge to your work, ensuring that Marriott remains at the forefront of user experience design in the hospitality industry.
