About the position

The UX Front End Developer will lead the development of a new Design System MVP, which will serve as the foundation for transforming the digital product experience. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of UX leaders, designers, and engineers to create high-quality, user-centered products and features. The position emphasizes a Design Thinking culture, where creativity and analytical skills are essential for delivering tailored user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the Design System MVP.
• Collaborate with UX leaders, product leads, designers, and engineers.
• Architect a scalable system for high-quality design execution.
• Write intuitive documentation for functional code and processes.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in the user interface.

Requirements

• 5+ years of coding experience in front-end development for scaled Design Systems.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UX/presentation layers.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular.
• Proficiency in CSS pre-processing frameworks such as Sass or Less.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or Ruby.
• Familiarity with developing Design Tokens and using Figma for prototypes.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma and its plugins.
• Practical knowledge of version-controlled UI frameworks.
• Ability to document processes and guidelines for design best practices.
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
