About the position

The UX Product Designer will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of ION's trading and workflow automation software. This position involves designing the overall flow and layout of screens, presenting information effectively, and creating engaging visualizations of data. The designer will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance user interaction and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for every aspect of a system's user experience, including overall flow and layout of screens.
• Solve workflow problems and develop new ways of visualizing market data.
• Identify tools needed by clients that they may not realize they require.
• Sketch, present, iterate, and refine ideas alongside clients.
• Quickly ramp up to various areas of clients' businesses and a wide range of technologies.
• Learn new skills and terminology rapidly while building rapport with end users.
• Collaborate with product and development teams and partner with a Visual Designer to define solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Five years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
