The UX Researcher at Renaissance plays a pivotal role in enhancing K12 learning analytics by fostering empathy for students and educators throughout the product lifecycle. This position is integral to the mission of Renaissance, which is to accelerate learning for all by providing educators with the tools they need to analyze, customize, and plan personalized learning paths for students. The UX Researcher will collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Owners, Product Managers, and Engineers to identify opportunities for future products and validate designs for product optimization. This role is not just about conducting research; it is about translating insights into compelling narratives that will influence leadership support for user-centered, visionary goals. In this role, the UX Researcher will recommend appropriate research methodologies tailored to generate the necessary insights at all phases of the product lifecycle. They will act as a strategic thought partner, providing expert guidance in leading, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative research projects. This includes a variety of research methods such as in-person moderated testing, remote moderated and unmoderated testing, surveys, heuristic reviews, benchmark studies, and ethnographies. The Researcher will lead the synthesis and analysis of research findings, identifying key opportunities from the insights gathered during research sessions. Ultimately, they will deliver these findings to the team in a compelling and influential manner, ensuring that the insights resonate and drive action.
