About the position

The UX Researcher II at Cox Automotive is responsible for conducting user research to improve the user experience of Logistics products. This role involves planning and executing various research methods, analyzing data, and presenting findings to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will collaborate with UX practitioners, designers, strategists, and stakeholders to inform product strategy and design through user research.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formative and evaluative research, including contextual interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
  • Develop research proposals and roadmaps tailored to product phases and timelines.
  • Recruit participants, create screening criteria, and manage scheduling for research sessions.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to extract insights and present findings to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align research initiatives with business goals and growth strategies.
  • Keep abreast of UX research trends and methodologies, sharing insights with the UX team.
  • Assist in creating interaction designs and prototypes as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field, or a master's degree with up to 2 years' experience, or 6 years' experience in a related field.
  • Skilled in various research methods, including task-based testing, card sorting, focus groups, and survey creation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey research findings effectively.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Figma, Qualtrics, and Pendo.
  • A portfolio showcasing strategic research projects with measurable business outcomes.
