About the position

As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the storytelling experience by designing and conducting comprehensive user studies. Your work will focus on uncovering deep insights about listener behaviors and preferences, ensuring that the customer experience is at the forefront of every research question you pursue. You will be responsible for all aspects of user research, from study design to reporting, and will collaborate closely with your team to share actionable insights that drive meaningful innovations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research studies to gain insights into human behavior, attitudes, and experiences.
• Own all aspects of the user research including study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, and communication.
• Conduct interviews, unmoderated tests on usertesting.com, and small scale surveys.
• Interpret and present findings to inform decision-making processes and future strategies.
• Become a domain expert through daily use of prototypes and competitive products to guide your research.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a user researcher or similar role.
• Experience conducting UX research with varied methodologies and the ability to execute the right methodology for needed results.
• 3+ years experience working within an entrepreneurial and iterative design process.
• A portfolio illustrating how your research informed decision-making and showcasing deliverables.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• The ability to tackle complex, high-level research challenges.
• Experience in consumer products leading to delightful user experiences.
• MS or PhD in human computer interaction, human factors, psychology, sociology, anthropology, or related discipline.
