About the position

The Staff Product Designer at FIS Global is a senior-level role focused on designing innovative banking experiences for consumers. This position is part of a dynamic team that operates like a startup within FIS, aiming to create a world-class embedded finance platform. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product requirements, lead design workshops, and contribute to a new design system, all while fostering a design-forward culture.

Responsibilities

• Leverage customer insights to collaboratively define product requirements with cross-functional partners, shaping end-to-end product experiences across a spectrum of developer, mobile, and SaaS products.
• Craft exceptional user experiences through design and lead workshops, sprints, and planning processes.
• Work closely with product and engineering throughout the product life cycle, from initial planning to final designs and launch.
• Contribute to a new design system applicable across a diverse suite of financial software products.
• Participate in a cultural shift towards a design-forward environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years working in product design, UX, UI or HCI related fields.
• Experience designing for multiple operating systems (iOS, Android, Desktop and Mobile Web).
• Ability to articulate design rationale across a range of fidelities and build influence across cross-functional teams.
• Highly proficient in design and prototyping tools, especially Figma.
• Strong foundational understanding of design principles and usability best practices.
