About the position
As a UX/UI Designer (Product Strategy Lead Analyst) at The Cigna Group, you will leverage your strong visual design and problem-solving skills to collaborate with Product and Technology teams. This role focuses on creating user-friendly designs for complex challenges, establishing design guidelines, and advocating for user-centered design principles across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges
- Use strong visual design skills with thoughtful, problem-solving UX skills to lead projects from start to finish
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
- Execute design projects from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
- Stay up to date with design trends, best practices, patterns, and new capabilities
- Advocate for the user and leverage the latest technologies to innovate and design best-in-class user experiences
- Perform competitor analysis, consumer analysis, and overall content and structure strategy when needed
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of proven track record as a successful UX/UI designer
- Experience designing for Web, mobile responsive, and native mobile platforms
- Strong portfolio is required
- Deep knowledge of design systems including Website's best practices, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Material Design Guidelines
- Understanding and experience with accessibility guidelines
- Understanding of motion principles and interaction design
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, Lucidchart, Photoshop, etc.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
- Proven experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong presentation and documentation skills
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Experience in or passion for the Healthcare industry is a plus
