About the position

As a UX/UI Designer (Product Strategy Lead Analyst) at The Cigna Group, you will leverage your strong visual design and problem-solving skills to collaborate with Product and Technology teams. This role focuses on creating user-friendly designs for complex challenges, establishing design guidelines, and advocating for user-centered design principles across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges
  • Use strong visual design skills with thoughtful, problem-solving UX skills to lead projects from start to finish
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Execute design projects from concept to final hand-off to engineering
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively
  • Stay up to date with design trends, best practices, patterns, and new capabilities
  • Advocate for the user and leverage the latest technologies to innovate and design best-in-class user experiences
  • Perform competitor analysis, consumer analysis, and overall content and structure strategy when needed

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of proven track record as a successful UX/UI designer
  • Experience designing for Web, mobile responsive, and native mobile platforms
  • Strong portfolio is required
  • Deep knowledge of design systems including Website's best practices, iOS Human Interface Guidelines, and Material Design Guidelines
  • Understanding and experience with accessibility guidelines
  • Understanding of motion principles and interaction design
  • Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, Lucidchart, Photoshop, etc.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Proven experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Strong presentation and documentation skills
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in or passion for the Healthcare industry is a plus
