About the position

The UX/UI Designer position at Dhara Consulting Group focuses on helping U.S. Federal agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions. The role involves collaborating with UX peers to design high-quality products, conducting user research, and presenting design work to executive leadership. The designer will lead workshops to define product vision and user journeys, create wireframes and prototypes, and contribute to UX design guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Inception Workshop to complete digital product design, including product vision, user profiling, user journey analysis, and user research.
• Present design work to customer executive leadership using visuals, writing, and verbal communications.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, high fidelity mockups, and visual design specifications for mobile-first web experiences.
• Contribute to user experience design guidelines and documentation of best practices and standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a user experience designer, product designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
• 4+ years of experience designing complex enterprise software applications, encompassing the full UX process from requirements gathering to creating development-ready high-fidelity wireframes.
• A track record of designing and delivering digital products that align customer needs and business goals, illustrated with a portfolio.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Secret or above.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
• Experience planning and executing effective customer research, solo or in partnership with a UX Researcher.
• Strong visual design skills to complement UX skills.
• Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and driving the design review cycle.
