About the position

As a Full Stack UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences through innovative design and development practices. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, allowing you to work on both the front-end and back-end aspects of projects. You will be responsible for creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows. Your proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD will be essential in bringing concepts to life. Additionally, you will leverage your understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure that designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and responsive across various devices. In this role, you will conduct user research and testing to gather insights that inform your design decisions. Your ability to understand and apply accessibility standards and guidelines (ADA) will ensure that our products are inclusive and user-friendly for all. You will also be expected to collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and external customers to align design strategies with business goals. Your experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, will be beneficial as you work in iterative cycles to deliver high-quality design solutions. You will be expected to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously improving your skills and knowledge. Your entrepreneurial mindset will allow you to perform effectively with limited supervision, taking initiative to drive projects forward. A compelling storyteller, you will utilize qualitative and quantitative data to communicate customer insights and design rationale effectively. Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Conduct user research and testing to gather insights for design improvements.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and guidelines (ADA).
  • Collaborate with development, product, business, and external customers to align design strategies with business goals.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement responsive and adaptive designs.
  • Follow UI industry trends and best design practices to enhance user experience.
  • Build Information Architecture for each project to improve customer engagement.
  • Demonstrate experience in both front-end and back-end software development practices.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Requirements

  • Proficient in prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Experience conducting user research and testing.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines (ADA).
  • General understanding of version control systems such as Git.
  • General understanding of .NET framework and its interaction with front-end technologies.
  • Experience utilizing modeling languages such as UML.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

  • React experience is a plus.
