About the position

The Product Designer at iTradeNetwork plays a crucial role in enhancing product value for customers in the food and beverage supply chain industry. This position involves collaborating with design, business, and product development teams to create intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms. The designer will lead initiatives in Supply Chain Execution, focusing on areas such as Warehouse Management and eCommerce, and will be involved in the full design cycle from concept to delivery, ensuring user needs are met and designs are iteratively improved based on user feedback.

Responsibilities

• Create intuitive and functional user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Lead core initiatives in Supply Chain Execution, focusing on Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Retail.
• Involve in the full design cycle from gathering insights to final delivery.
• Collaborate with the Platform UX team and leverage components from the existing Luminate design system.
• Understand user needs and validate concepts through rapid design iterations.
• Measure success through user feedback and continuously improve the user experience.
• Mentor team members and provide design leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in UX design or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions that deliver business results.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience working with and contributing to Design Systems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience designing for enterprise-scale software solutions in the supply chain industry.
• Familiarity with data-centric analytical or intelligent applications.
• Ability to prototype solutions using tools like InVision, Proto.io, or Axure.
• Knowledge of visual design principles, typography, and graphic design.
• Experience conducting user research and collaborating with researchers.
• History of working with engineers to implement and test design solutions.
• Experience designing cross-platform experiences for web and mobile.
