About the position

As a UX/UI Designer at Stem, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our innovative clean energy solutions. Your primary focus will be to understand user needs and preferences, ensuring that every interaction with our AI-driven enterprise software platform, Athena, is intuitive and delightful. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and product leaders, to create user-friendly interfaces that connect users seamlessly with our energy management systems. Your work will involve diving deep into user needs through analysis and research, as well as conducting competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation in the market. In this position, you will be responsible for imagining and designing interfaces for next-generation energy storage devices, virtual power plants, and AI-driven grid management systems. Your ability to clearly express design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, clients, and internal teams will be essential in driving the design process forward. You will also determine the information architecture for our products, creating sitemaps and designing seamless navigation flows that help users gather insights efficiently. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with designers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to present each stage of the design process effectively.
