About the position

The UX/UI Developer Intern position at Oracle is an 8-month on-site internship designed for current students pursuing a degree in relevant fields. The role involves creating and modifying prototypes, developing user-friendly web interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance enterprise applications. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the UX design field while contributing to innovative projects within the Corporate Architecture organization.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes to support evolving projects.
• Develop rich, easy-to-use, web-based interfaces for console designs.
• Apply software design and usability processes to improve enterprise applications.
• Drive the lifecycle of UI features from ideation through wireframing and prototyping.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to implement UI features.
• Assist in developing design concepts and specifications for products in development.
• Partner with fellow designers to innovate and create new user experiences.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate junior-year student graduating by Spring 2026 with a passion for design and interest in UX Design.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Product Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related fields.
• Ability to work on-site in Redwood City, CA for the full 8-month duration.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages: Java, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Proficient in at least two design tools: Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Webflow, UX research.
