About the position

The UX/UI Developer Intern position is an 8-month on-site internship designed for current students pursuing a degree in fields related to design and technology. The role involves creating and modifying prototypes, developing user-friendly web interfaces, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance enterprise applications. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the UX design field while contributing to innovative projects within the Corporate Architecture organization at Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and modify prototypes to support evolving projects.
• Develop rich, easy-to-use web-based interfaces for console designs.
• Apply software design and usability processes to improve enterprise applications.
• Drive the lifecycle of UI features from ideation through wireframing and prototyping.
• Test and validate features against design specifications.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineering teams to implement UI features.
• Assist in developing design concepts and provide input on user design considerations.
• Produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for products in development.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate junior-year student graduating by Spring 2026.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Product Design, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages: Java, Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript.
• Proficient in at least two design tools: Figma, Adobe Suite, Sketch, Webflow.
