About the position

Ninth Wave is seeking an experienced UX UI Developer to enhance its SaaS platform, focusing on creating user-friendly interfaces for financial institutions. This role involves collaborating with product managers and engineers to gather UI/UX requirements, developing reusable JavaScript code, and ensuring adherence to design standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and financial products, contributing to a cohesive user experience.

Responsibilities

• Help gather and evaluate UI/UX requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and mockups that clearly illustrate how applications should function and look like.
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript code using the angular framework.
• Work closely with other departments to write design documents that will solve business problems that our customers have.
• Propose design approaches for review and agreement from peers or supervisor.
• Adhere to T2 UI and UX design standards.
• Participate in design, code, and product reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional development experience
• Professional experience working with at least one of the following: JavaScript, ReactJS, Angular JS, Node JS
• Exposure on Cloud Application development (full development cycle)
• Experience on Continuous Integration and Delivery
• Experience in Cloud Technology (AWS preferably) a plus
• Strong ability to work collaboratively across diverse groups of business and technical stakeholders
• Exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people
• An elevated level of fluency in agile product development team structure and process
• Solid communication skills with an astute attention to detail
• Willing to learn and research technologies that benefit existing products
• Flexible to work on different shifts

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in NetSuite development a plus
