TEKsystems is seeking a dynamic and driven UX/UI Manager to join our Studio Team. This role is pivotal in architecting and establishing a variety of UX/UI engagements, ranging from dedicated teams to multi-disciplinary groups and mixed models. The UX/UI Manager will collaborate closely with Studio Operations and Service Delivery Management to enable teams to partner with clients on long-term engagements that focus on backlog management, digital transformation, and platform overhauls. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with the team and clients. As a UX/UI Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director of Studios. Your responsibilities will include partnering with agency leadership to innovate and evolve current capabilities, as well as managing a UX/UI studio team that is currently serving multiple clients on various design projects. The ideal candidate will possess both agency and studio experience, having spent time in their career as a UX, UI, or UX/UI designer and researcher. A minimum of seven years of experience leading teams is preferred, along with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends. A strong proven history of pitching, architecting solutions, building teams, and managing workflows is essential for success in this role. Experience with Design Systems will be a significant advantage. In this role, you will provide leadership and strategic vision to enhance the Studio Team's capabilities in supporting business demands and growth. You will be responsible for mentoring and managing the UX/UI studio team across various dimensions, including craft, processes, problem-solving, effective communication, and leadership. You will also work collaboratively with the team and across disciplines to define Studio goals and standards, articulating these on a company-wide level. Your ability to facilitate a culture of learning and feedback will be crucial in balancing the needs of your team, the business, and clients. Additionally, you will manage and evolve the design process and staffing for projects and new business, ensuring that feedback, formal user testing, and data-driven metrics are integrated into the workflow.
