About the position

The UX/UI Product Designer will be a key member of the global experience design team at Stanley Black and Decker, focusing on creating intuitive and engaging user experiences across digital platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and ensure design consistency across products, particularly within the M Suite software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Develop visually appealing designs that align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a corporate or product-focused environment.
• Proficiency in design tools such as M-Suite, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar.
• Strong portfolio highlighting design process, critical thinking skills, and final deliverables.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively.
• Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
