About the position

The UX/Visual Designer IV position is focused on creating compelling visual and motion designs, as well as video content. This role requires collaboration with UX designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality design solutions that enhance user experience. The position is a 5-month contract based in Boulder, CO, with remote work options available.

Responsibilities

• Create visual and motion designs for various projects.
• Develop video content and perform video editing and post-production tasks.
• Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to ensure design alignment with project goals.
• Maintain a portfolio that showcases expertise in visual/motion design and video creation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in visual and motion design, video editing, and video editing post production.
• 7+ years of experience working in design roles, particularly with UX teams.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Figma, Photoshop, and other video editing tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating command of visual/motion design and understanding of typography, color, and visual storytelling.
