About the position

Onward Search is seeking a UX/Visual Designer for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical client. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts for various design projects, including websites, mobile apps, marketing materials, and social media graphics. The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension, requiring on-site work 2-3 days a week in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Utilize design software to create high-quality design assets such as wireframes, mockups, and final visual designs.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that prioritize user experience and engagement.
• Ensure all visual designs adhere to established brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design assets into various projects.
• Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions to refine and improve designs based on user testing and analytics.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Utilize experience in responsive design, UX/UI best practices, and modern design trends.

Requirements

• 2+ years working at an advertising agency
• Proficiency in Figma (primary design software)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD / Photoshop / Illustrator)
• Knowledge of responsive design principles
• Understanding of UX/UI best practices for various mediums
• Design aesthetic that leans toward modern, minimal, clean
• Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Ability to build clickable prototypes
• Experience with motion graphics or animation.
