About the position

The UX & Web Designer position involves creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for complex engineering projects, specifically using MediaWiki as a content management system. Responsibilities

• Design and develop websites using MediaWiki.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering with a focus on Web & UX Design.
• 7+ years of experience in relevant fields.
• Proven expertise in MediaWiki, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience working with scientific and engineering users and content/knowledge management systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Perl, C/C++, Java.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and system administration (Linux).
