About the position

The UX Web Designer will be responsible for developing user research plans, conducting user interviews, and creating UI mockups to enhance the user experience across various online products. This role involves collaboration with product managers and UX team members to ensure design consistency and adherence to Wolters Kluwer brand standards, while working within an Agile development framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop analysis and user research plan that meets project deadlines.
• Review previously conducted research to limit rework.
• Conduct user interviews and document user workflow and system interaction.
• Work closely with product manager and UX team members to ensure consistent design and appropriate reuse of design patterns across products.
• Set project scope and review requirements and proposed designs prior to development.
• Create User Interface (UI) mockups, user task and interaction flows, screen designs, and user-interface interaction details that comply with Wolters Kluwer Design System.
• Deconstruct desired product features into development stories and establish acceptance criteria.
• Help design user acceptance testing to ensure the final product meets the design.
• Provide desk check of delivered features and work with product manager to align planning for market introduction with the delivery schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in user research and analysis.
• Proficiency in creating UI mockups and interaction flows.
• Strong understanding of design systems and brand standards.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
