About the position

The UX Web Designer role is a fully remote position focused on creating user-centered web experiences. The designer will take ownership of design direction, collaborating closely with the web team to develop impactful solutions based on research and data. This position offers the opportunity to experiment and innovate within modern web design practices while leveraging data to enhance user engagement and conversions.

Responsibilities

• Own and consult on design direction using research-driven insights
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for high-impact design improvements through data analysis
• Select the right mix of research, design, and visualization methods to eliminate obstacles and enhance user engagement
• Create innovative and strategic designs for web content and functions
• Support web producers with layout optimization and design consistency
• Build Figma mockups for new web pages and collaborate with the design team on layouts
• Utilize user engagement data to guide design decisions for new pages
• Contribute to web optimization and migration projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in UX or UI design, with a focus on web UX
• A portfolio showcasing past UX work, including deliverables and innovative design solutions
