The Virtual Chief Information Officer collaborates with and advises clients' IT departments and performs the same functions as a conventional CIO. The goal of this position is to formulate strategic IT goals, assist with planning a client's IT budget, and provide forward thinking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients and Client Success Managers to create technology roadmaps to bring clients to Corsica and industry standards.
  • Proactively develop and nurture opportunities within assigned accounts, identifying and planning growth across the Corsica services portfolio and for the overall success of the accounts.
  • Develop and manage Corsica's post-sales relationship for Cybersecurity and ITSM assigned accounts.
  • Ensure that security and managed IT services are being delivered to assigned clients according to agreement terms.
  • Provide demonstrations of security solutions and services.
  • Work to understand the current Corsica Cybersecurity offerings and how they could mitigate client risks.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in security threats channel on Teams.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical capabilities of assigned clients in order to provide the proper security and technical recommendations.
  • Assist clients with becoming more competitive through technology to drive up revenue, cut costs, and increase business continuity.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted advisor relationships with key contacts within assigned accounts.
  • Be a good listener and adapt to making connections between business needs and technology solutions.
  • Provide leadership during IT budget planning.
  • Ability to identify potential areas that could be susceptible to cybersecurity breaches.
  • Update/Maintain Sales Opportunities, Activities and detailed time sheets on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or 10+ years related experience in professional IT or Cybersecurity experience.
  • Reading comprehension
  • Knowledge of current compliance landscape and how compliance requirements affect businesses (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, CJIS, CMMC, GLBA)

Nice-to-haves

  • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Foundations v3 certification or higher
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or higher
  • Experience with SIEM platforms, firewall management, and endpoint detection and response platforms
  • Experience with the security industry.
