As a Business Development Manager at CDW, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth within the healthcare and verticals segment. Your primary responsibility will be to position CDW as a preferred vendor in the market by leveraging our manufacturer partners and collaborating with customers to provide tailored solutions that meet their evolving business needs. This position requires a strategic approach to target high visibility corporate accounts and projects, ensuring that we address the specific business needs of C-level clients effectively. You will engage in the discovery process to understand the unique requirements of our clients, applying project management techniques to ensure successful delivery of solutions. Coordination with the sales team will be essential as you determine the markets to address and identify key accounts within those markets. You will also review the current state of relationships within selected accounts and assist in executing growth strategies to enhance these relationships. Developing a long-term, mature pipeline of solution-based opportunities will be a key focus, as will building relationships with key organizations and manufacturers to align CDW with the evolving needs of our customers. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders at the customer level, including executives and technical experts, to influence the final requirements of target opportunities. Your ability to articulate CDW's value proposition around eProcurement will be crucial, as you provide both internal and external support as needed. As the subject matter expert, you will lead customer visits, presentations, and conference calls, participating in all aspects of large transaction sales cycles. You will coordinate with appropriate resources to execute necessary legal and financial agreements prior to RFP releases, driving incremental revenue and profit growth within your identified account base. Additionally, you will identify trends in customer purchasing patterns and enact specific plans to help sales teams capture a greater share of business, ensuring that you articulate the value proposition effectively to both partners and customers.
