The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role at Citi, primarily responsible for providing management with comprehensive analysis and insights into the company's financial results. This position plays a crucial role in coordinating with the broader Finance team to contribute to the directional strategy of the organization. Key responsibilities include executing thorough analyses of annual three-year Strategic/Operating Plans, Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) Pre-Provision Net Revenue (PPNR) forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks in collaboration with segment, business, and country FP&A teams. Additionally, the Lead Analyst will prepare analytics to support CEO Reviews, including assessments of business initiatives, and will conduct profitability analyses of products to inform major business decisions. Building and maintaining relationships with key partners and senior management is essential for influencing behavior and decision-making processes. The role requires the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy. The Lead Analyst will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and other team members, ensuring that risk is appropriately assessed in business decisions, particularly concerning the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
