About the position

The Vice President for Operations will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing the Sensor Solutions organization. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategic plans aimed at enhancing business efficiency and effectiveness. The VP will lead and empower teams, foster innovative solutions, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring process discipline. The position also involves overseeing activities that contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, development, and execution of strategic and tactical growth objectives for the Sensor Solutions organization.
• Develop strategies and processes to improve business efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide direction to senior Operations managers in implementing business plans and objectives.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Management Services to develop and oversee operational initiatives.
• Create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within an ISO/AS compliant business system.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on the development and execution of the strategic plan.
• Work with stakeholder departments to deliver products and services and achieve quality and cost objectives.
• Maintain P&L accountability.

• 10-15 years of industry experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
• Master's Degree desired.
• Demonstrated performance using continuous improvement approaches to improve quality and working capital.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
