About the position
The Vacation Rental Inspector role at Vacation Rentals By Kimberly involves inspecting multiple vacation rental homes in San Diego County for cleanliness, damages, and safety. The inspector will communicate issues with management, owners, and vendors to ensure timely resolutions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently while being on the road.
Responsibilities
- Inspect 2-7 homes per day for cleanliness, damages, and safety.
- Report any issues found at the home with detailed notes and pictures.
- Take out trash bins at rentals several times per week.
- Order house supplies and deliver them upon inspection date.
- Communicate with other team members on a daily basis.
- Troubleshoot issues at vacation rentals, including TVs, lights, and other items.
- Keep track of projects using Excel and property management systems.
- Assist management with various projects.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License and vehicle with insurance.
- 1 year of similar experience in a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- Hotel experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
