About the position

The Vacation Rental Property Manager at Island Realty is responsible for the day-to-day management of vacation rental properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and financially viable. This role involves maintaining high levels of communication with property owners and guests, analyzing reservations and revenue reports, and collaborating with various departments to enhance service delivery and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Support guests and owners by handling concerns and conducting property inspections.
• Work closely with Guest Services, Marketing, Maintenance, and Housekeeping to ensure effective communication.
• Analyze reservations and revenue reports to ensure profitability and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the progress of annual property inspections.
• Develop annual projections of rental revenue and set monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
• Assist team members in implementing plans to increase income for properties with low revenue.
• Respond to all email and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
• 2 years of property management experience required.
• Property Management license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and database management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
