About the position

As a Vacation Sales Coordinator at Marriott Vacation Club at The Mayflower in Washington, D.C., you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable vacation experiences for our guests. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sales and marketing, and who thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. You will be responsible for making pre- and post-arrival telemarketing calls, providing elevated concierge services, and scheduling sales presentations for our valued Owners and guests. Your goal will be to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals while ensuring that all attendees meet eligibility requirements and are genuinely interested in learning more about our offerings. In this in-person role, you will engage with guests both over the phone and face-to-face, utilizing your bold persuasion skills to promote the Marriott Vacation Club Destinations® Program. You will be part of an award-winning sales and marketing team, where your contributions will directly impact the success of our operations. The position offers uncapped earning potential through wages, monthly incentives, and annual bonuses, making it an exciting opportunity for financially motivated individuals. Responsibilities

  • Make pre- and post-arrival telemarketing calls while offering elevated concierge services to all arriving Owners and guests.
  • Schedule sales presentations and manage customer expectations.
  • Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
  • Ensure that all Owners and guests attending a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about Marriott Vacation Club products and services.

Requirements

  • Enjoy talking on the phone and/or interacting with guests in person
  • Bold persuasion skills
  • Computer skills
  • Stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Concierge, telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred
