About the position

The Vacation Sales Coordinator position at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) is designed to assist in providing memorable experiences for guests and owners. This in-person role focuses on engaging with hotel guests, scheduling sales presentations, and ensuring high levels of customer service while meeting sales goals. The position offers uncapped earning potential and a supportive work environment in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with hotel guests at desk locations and providing elevated customer service.
  • Scheduling sales presentations and managing customer expectations.
  • Providing the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
  • Ensuring that all guests who attend a sales presentation meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about Marriott Vacation Club products and services.
  • Using persuasive techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Welcoming and greeting guests; anticipating and addressing their needs.
  • Interacting with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contributing to team goals.
  • Following company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have worked in the timeshare industry for at least one year.
  • Sales or customer service experience is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • Concierge and/or sales experience preferred.
