About the position

The Valet Attendant position at Table Mountain Casino involves ensuring the safe transport of guest vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. The role requires monitoring traffic flow in the valet staging area and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. The position demands flexibility in scheduling, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional appearance and polite demeanor at all times.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Identify and anticipate guests' needs to ensure personalized service.
  • Secure and retrieve vehicles within and from the parking facility in keeping with the valet parking procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment including common rooms, storage closets, Porte Cochere, and main entrance.
  • Comply with all posted speed limit regulations and vehicle operation safety rules.
  • Maintain a consistent level of customer satisfaction through individual service initiatives.
  • Answer questions or offer information to guests (for example, transportation and promotions).
  • Operate all vehicle types in a congested environment.
  • Follow applicable TMCR company policies and procedures including Hotel Operations policies & procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.
  • Must have a current California Driver's License on their person while at work.
  • Clean driving record that is acceptable to Table Mountain Casino Resort's insurer is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Previous hospitality (hotel, valet, casino or guest service) experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
